The Hebrew Bible has been translated more than any other written word in human history. At Sefaria, one can access over a dozen English translations of the Torah, including Dr. Everett Fox's The Five Books of Moses and various translations from the Jewish Publication Society. Additionally, Sefaria proudly hosts The New JPS Tanakh: Gender-Sensitive Edition and Dr. Fox's translation of the Early Prophets. Join Rabbi Barry Schwartz, Director Emeritus of JPS, and Dr. Everett Fox, professor at Clark University and biblical translator, in a discussion facilitated by Sefaria's Learning Coordinator, Justin Goldstein, on why access to diverse translations is a benefit to Jewish education, and how modern translations support your teaching.
