Who doesn't wish you could review previously learned material without boring the kids to death?! By its very nature there's nothing novel in a review to excite anyone. Going over material in preparation for a quiz or test may motivate a few grade-oriented students, but most will just roll their eyes (and that assumes your school even uses traditional assessments and grades). But color wars and good natured competition is exciting. Even preparing for them can be motivating. In this session we'll explore how to put together a color war for Lag B'Omer (or any other occasion) that combines academic content and physically active events (which don't disadvantage non-athletes), alongside a year-long review of earlier lessons. And all with smiles!
