Useful Basics for Lay-led Liturgy and Bible Chant

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

What are the basic elements that a lay leader can find useful for chanting various services and Biblical sections? We will review some unusual Hebrew details, the structures of our Jewish liturgies, our basic musical modes and how they are used to chant various services, and the six versions of Biblical Trope. Resource lists include sources of printed music and audio files. If you lead services or chant from our Bible, or if you teach others to do so, this workshop will have useful information for you.
