Jewish education at its best helps our learners to answer: Who Am I? How do I understand being in relationship and community? How do I understand my responsibility in the world? And how do I understand my relationship to God and spirituality? At this workshop, participants will explore a new framework, MAP (My Aspirations Playbook) that articulates the ways in which Jewish education can respond to a young person’s questions about themselves and the world they live in. This framework offers educators a set of outcomes that incorporate a depth of knowledge, the opportunity for meaning making, and guidelines for thriving. After exploring the framework, participants will have the opportunity to brainstorm ways to apply this tool in their communities.
