Improv and theater games are a wonderful way to infuse playfulness into any setting, and a powerful tool in creating a sense of community and belonging among learners. In this session for K-5 educators we will learn some basic improv rules, experience how they play out through games, and then reflect on how these might empower us and our learners, and how we can apply them to any subject. Each participant will have a chance to create and practice leading a short warm-up game designed for their own classroom. This is a hands-on, up-on-our-feet, learning-by-doing workshop. so come prepared to play and learn together!
