Work colleagues that become friends provide a form of professional learning that can be joyful. With shared interests and experiences our work friends can offer support and encouragement but also challenges to continuously improve practice. When we cultivate, we intentionally work on making friendships stronger in our own unique contexts amongst colleagues and children. Grounded by love and kindness, it is through our friends that we can develop into ourselves. This session will focus on forging and maintaining friendships while reflecting deeply in a parallel process so that we become more aware of the importance of friendships for all. We will engage in interactive experiences in ways that can be applied to practice. Everyone needs friends!
