How has Israel, both secular and religious, incorporated Jewish values into the day to day lives of the people and the legal system? We will examine the idea that "Whoever saves a soul is considered as if they saved the entire world". Where does this idea originate? How is this idea embodied in Israeli culture? We will also see how this value appears in other religions, cultures and countries, and (being Jews), we will end the session with an optimistic story
